Keysborough Gardens Primary School was built in 2019 and was to accomodate up to 800 students, but with a problem: they didn’t have a playground.
The only reference to an adventure playground upon completion was an area with some large logs and rocks in a garden. Students will now have plenty of opportunities to play, learn and develop on the school grounds, as well as in the classrooms.
Their new Essentials playground complements their first Forpark playground, which was installed in April 2020.We assisted the the school through the VSBA grant process, which was approved after a year.
The school leadership team was involved in the concept and even installed shade sails to match the playground’s colour scheme.
