Our journey kicked off with 22 dazzling designs for 11 different sites within the City of Casey. While we may not have secured victory across the board, the tide turned in our favour at Oaktree Reserve! Boasting excellent accessibility and level terrain, it’s truly a winning combination.
One of the best parts of a City of Casey tender is the imaginative drawings submitted by children (check them out below). Their visions of the ultimate playground served as our inspiration – swings, rainbow slides, spinners, and spider climbing, all woven into our designs.
While our path was not without hurdles, including an unfortunate incident where temp fencing, play matta, timber edging, and even a basket swing were taken, we persevered. In the end, we triumphed, and the playground stands proudly, a testament to our dedication. And believe us when we say, the real-life result far surpasses the initial pictures – it’s an absolute marvel!
