St Therese in Cranbourne created a ‘Playground Project Group’ to amplify their student’s voice in playground decision-making. 2 children from grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 were chosen to discuss playground safety, communicate with their class and create a shortlist of must-haves for us to design their ultimate playground. They were confident, respectful, and organised and did an incredible job communicating what they would like to see in the final design, including colour choice!
The kids and the playground got their very own feature in the local newspaper!! You can also see the “playground project group” wall where they came up with ideas and discussed the perfect playground. The parents and staff especially love the custom panel with their school motto and are excited to show off the playground at their welcome BBQ.
