Forpark Australia’s First Summit Tower!

2018 saw us release our Summit range. We wanted to create a product that showcases our design and manufacturing capabilities and in October 2019 that dream was realised with the first of our Summit towers being installed in Busselton, Western Australia at Mandalay Holiday Resort and Tourist Park

When we were first approached by Mandalay it was to provide a quote for them to submit for a grant application.

Unfortunately, Mandalay was not successful, however, after a few months, they decided that they loved the design so much that they would proceed with the Summit and requested delivery to occur before school holidays (Oct 2019). The reason why Mandalay wanted to go with the Summit was that they wanted a statement piece to stand out from the rest of the holiday parks in the area to become the main attraction – the fact that the Summit install would be the first-ever was a high selling point for them.
 
As the Summit was going into an existing area with shade sails, we liaised with the customer to work out the removal details as well as the underground services. This area has a high water table due to the proximity to the beach, so Mandalay organised the removal of access water prior to us commencing.
 
The process took 2 weeks from footings to completion on-site – Mandalay are happy with the structure and colour choices, and the playground is a hit with the kids.
