Forpark Australia donates playground to Broome women’s refuge

Forpark Australia is very proud to donate new play equipment to Marnja Jarndu Women’s Refuge in Broome.

The refuge does incredibly important work, providing safe short-term accommodation and support for women with or without children who are escaping family violence and/or are in crisis.

We worked with Desma Clark, the refuge manager, to create a design that was suitable for the space. The playground is an Essentials structure designed for toddlers and children up to 12. It features some great play elements for the little ones including interactive panels and a cubby with a shop front for imagination play. An inclusive flower table was added as a place for children and adults to congregate and play together.

Installation was kindly donated by MintDesign & Build, a local Broome business. Many thanks to Ryan Kent and his team for their time and effort in installing this great new playground.
